Updated the version from 1.1 to 1.2
Renamed the header to "Slint Royalty-free Desktop, Mobile, and Web Applications License"
Added definition of "Mobile Application" and grant of right
Moved "Limitations" to 3rd section and "License Conditions - Attributions" to 2nd section
Added flexibility to choose between showing "MadeWithSlint" as a dialog/splash screen or on a public webpage
Moved the para on copyright notices to section under "Limitations"
The name passed was always "Slint", which can show up in the task
switcher, as seen on Linux/Xfce. Instead, we now use std::env::args() to
pass the actual first argument.
I think ideally this should use std::env::args_os() since we don't need
the data to be valid unicode (in which case this will panic). However,
stable Rust does not appear to provide a way to get at the bytes of an
OsString.
* Extend the cspell word list
* Remove those extensions from individual source files
* white-list licenses and such as we should not meddle with those
* Fix spelling
So that we don't need to query the geometry multiple time, and this pave
the way to not have the geometry in the items
Part of #1932
As a drive by, fix the clipping of the Path element which incorrectly
offseted the clip by (x,y).
Similar fixes happen in the Clip element in some renderer, but that
didn't have effect because x and y are always 0 for the Clip element
* Text only StandardTableView with column and rows
* Text editing of cells
* Sort by column ascending and descending
* Variants of the TableView for native, fluent and material
This removes the special code for the generated property getters and
ensures type safety in the run-time library for property value setting.
In the Rust generated code we continue to do arithmetic on the scalar
values, that means we immediately extract the scalar, do arithmetic and
rely on the compiler to only allow compatible units.
Danger zone alert: In the interpreter Value::Number can now be converted
to LogicalLength as-is.
and use Rc<dyn PlatformWindow> instead. The alias has to stay with the ffi
functions though and the item vtable definitions,
because we don't have an Rc<> template in C++.
Previously: Window is an Rc<WindowInner>, which has an Rc<dyn
PLatformWindow> - and weak references the other way around.
Now: Rc<dyn PlatformWindow> is the root of window ownership. The impl
PlatformWindow has a slint::api::Window, which just holds a WindowInner.
This change is incomplete on a few levels, mainly that neither of the
code generators nor the interpreter is ported.
The as_any() method returning a `&mut dyn Any` meant that the type has to be
'static. The class solution of returning &()
doesn't work because it has to be a mutable ref. Therefore just return an Option.
The render function now takes a self_rc and returns a enum that permits
the implementation to handle rendering of children on its own and
thus make the caller skip that traversal step.
* Build the backends without rtti unless needed
Only the interpreter needs the rtti generated code.
* Since `SlintElement` emits `#[cfg(feature = "rtti")]` tokens, each
crate using `SlintElement` needs to have an `rtti` feature.
* The selector gets backend specific rtti selection features, in order
for the interpreter to enable them.
* Enable rtti when building the C++ project with the interpreter enabled
