To be compatible with the 2024 edition, we need to wrap the
`no_mangle` attribute in `unsafe()`.
The parsing for that in cbindgen was only added in the version 0.28,
but we couldn't upgrade cbindgen before because of a regression in
cbindgen 0.27 that prevented us from upgrading.
Now that cbindgen 0.29 is released with a fix, we can prepare for the
2024 edition
This is a hacky approach, but does help a lot with the tedious fixes.
See https://rust-lang.github.io/rust-clippy/master/index.html#/unnecessary_map_or
```
__CARGO_FIX_YOLO=1 cargo clippy --fix --all-targets --workspace --exclude gstreamer-player --exclude i-slint-backend-linuxkms --exclude uefi-demo --exclude ffmpeg -- -A clippy::all -W clippy::unnecessary_map_or
cargo fmt --all
```
Updated the version from 1.1 to 1.2
Renamed the header to "Slint Royalty-free Desktop, Mobile, and Web Applications License"
Added definition of "Mobile Application" and grant of right
Moved "Limitations" to 3rd section and "License Conditions - Attributions" to 2nd section
Added flexibility to choose between showing "MadeWithSlint" as a dialog/splash screen or on a public webpage
Moved the para on copyright notices to section under "Limitations"
Following the winit 0.29 merge, a few adjustments are in order:
- Make slint::Window.set_size() before show keep the size
- on wasm, attempt to keep the size of the canvas from CSS
- on wasm, one must set the width and height explicitly on the canvas
otherwise there is wierd scaling
- on wasm, we can't set None as maximum or minimum size otherwise winit
panics
- It seems that the hack we had to keep the size in range is no longer
necessary
- The hack in the slide puzzle can be removed. (but unfortunately it
doesn't follow resizes
Unfortunatelly we always call set_inner_size to avoid infinite loop when
the css properties are not specificed, so this will override layouts
Also we don't default anymore to the preferred size
* Update internal/backends/winit/winitwindowadapter.rs
When for example only a maximum height is set, but no maximum width,
avoid passing -1 or 0 to winit for the width. Instead use the same large
value was for Qt.
cc #2562
This type is poorly implemented and not documented. Let's remove it for now.
It shall remain available in the git history in the event of a resurrection.
This avoid repeating the enums both in the compiler and in
the runtime library, and register them in a bunch of other places.
So it should be easier to add enums and enum values
Since cbindgen doesn't see through the macro, generate the enum
manually
Move "internal" crates into the `internal` directory. This first batch
includes most of sixtyfps_runtime but leaves the rendering backends
alone for now.
pre-commit applied some cleanups to the moved files:
- Consistent newline at end of file policy
- trimming trailing whitespace
- Formatting Cargo.toml files.
