gh-135110: Fix misleading `generator.close()` documentation (GH-135152)
The documentation incorrectly stated that generator.close() 'raises' a
GeneratorExit exception. This was misleading because the method doesn't
raise the exception to the caller - it sends the exception internally
to the generator and returns None.

If an HTTP link is redirected to a same looking HTTPS link, the latter can
be used directly without changes in readability and behavior.
It protects from a men-in-the-middle attack.
This change does not affect Python examples.
* Describe compress() and accumulate()
* Add a subsection on combinatoric functions.
* Add a forward link to skip the theoretical discussion in the first section.
* Clarify what filterfalse() is the opposite of.
* Remove the old outline and some notes at the end.
* Various small edits.

I'm assuming this problem is caused by DNS lookup. This change
does a DNS lookup of the hostname before trying to connect, so the time

Removed uses of dict.has_key() from distutils, and uses of
