104aab956f #14984: On POSIX, enforce permissions when reading default .netrc. 
Initial patch by Bruno Piguet.

This is implemented as if a useful .netrc file could exist without passwords,
which is possible in the general case; but in fact our netrc implementation
does not support it.  Fixing that issue will be an enhancement.

2daf6ae249 Issue #13703: add a way to randomize the hash values of basic types (str, bytes, datetime) 
in order to make algorithmic complexity attacks on (e.g.) web apps much more complicated.

The environment variable PYTHONHASHSEED and the new command line flag -R control this
behavior.

ee18b6f2fd Issue #12012: ssl.PROTOCOL_SSLv2 becomes optional 
OpenSSL is now compiled with OPENSSL_NO_SSL2 defined (without the SSLv2
protocol) on Debian: fix the ssl module on Debian Testing and Debian Sid.

Optimize also ssl.get_protocol_name(): speed does matter!

e0fd2f880e Fix wording and clarify that the IDNA codec operates on full domain names. 
Before reading the code to check, I wasn't sure if it operated on
full domain names or just individual labels.

Changeset ab27f16f707a was messed up by a rebase (as were
