6355c16d36 ntpath.samefile fails to detect that "A.TXT" and "a.txt" refer to the same file on Windows XP. 
Noticed while researching a buildbot failure due to a patch for issue #10684.

1c86b44506 Issue #12000: When a SSL certificate has a subjectAltName without any 
dNSName entry, ssl.match_hostname() should use the subject's commonName.

descriptor, the check of the object type doesn't read the __class__ attribute
anymore.  Fix a crash if a class override its __class__ attribute (e.g. a proxy
of the str type).

3cbf14bfb1 Issue #10914: Initialize correctly the filesystem codec when creating a new 
subinterpreter to fix a bootstrap issue with codecs implemented in Python, as
the ISO-8859-15 codec.

Add fscodec_initialized attribute to the PyInterpreterState structure.

58de6ee871 Fix sporadic failure in test_startfile. 
Wait for the child process to terminate before ending the test, so that the
regrtest cleanup code doesn't get an error when it tries to delete the
temporary CWD.

ee4293400c Fix possible "file already exists" error when running the tests in parallel. 
This is a perfect example of LBYL going wrong: that code could be executed
by several workers in parallel, and os.mkdir() attempted on the same
path by multiple processes.
