1919b7e72b Issue #7652: Integrate the decimal floating point libmpdec library to speed 
up the decimal module. Performance gains of the new C implementation are
between 12x and 80x, depending on the application.

d635af5a61 Fixes issue #8052: The posix subprocess module's close_fds behavior was 
suboptimal by closing all possible file descriptors rather than just
the open ones in the child process before exec().

It now closes only the open fds when it is possible to safely determine what
those are.

ff3d9399fc Close #12326: sys.platform is now always 'linux' on Linux 
On Linux, sys.platform doesn't contain the major version anymore. It is now
always 'linux', instead of 'linux2' or 'linux3' depending on the Linux version
used to build Python.
