3b0a3293c3 Massive changes from SF 589982 (tempfile.py rewrite, by Zack 
Weinberg).  This changes all uses of deprecated tempfile functions to
the recommended ones.

48871f2a6e Remove the old platform-specific FCNTL.py modules; these are no longer 
needed now that fcntl exports the constants.

ddd802cbd7 Replace all the platform-specific TERMIOS modules with a portable version 
based on the termios module.  The only added "feature" is the deprecation
warning it spits out.

0c07b50811 The socket constants have been moved to the socket module for a long time; 
the standard library does not use the SOCKET module any more, and it is
not defined for all platforms (Windows, in particular).

132dce2246 Update the code to better reflect recommended style: 
Use != instead of <> since <> is documented as "obsolescent".
Use "is" and "is not" when comparing with None or type objects.

c8718c3ddd Backward compatibity module for constants from cl.h include file. The 
values are gotten from the cl module.  CL_old is there in case cl
doesn't exist.

7bc817d5ba * Mass change: get rid of all init() methods, in favor of __init__() 
constructors.  There is no backward compatibility.  Not everything has
  been tested.
* aiff.{py,doc}: deleted in favor of aifc.py (which contains its docs as
  comments)

4fff13faca CL.py: adapted to newest version of CL library. 
cdplayer.py: It is now also possible to give the CD's TOC as argument
to init().  The TOC is a string consisting of 2 digits giving the
number of tracks and then for each track the length of the track as
number of minutes and number of seconds (2 digits each).

cddb.py: Interface to the .cddb directory.  Usage is the same as for
cdplayer.py.
