The existing event loop `start_tls()` method is not sufficient for connections using the streams API. The existing StreamReader works because the new transport passes received data to the original protocol. The StreamWriter must then write data to the new transport, and the StreamReaderProtocol must be updated to close the new transport correctly. The new StreamWriter `start_tls()` updates itself and the reader protocol to the new SSL transport. Co-authored-by: Ian Good <icgood@gmail.com>

Streams are high-level async/await-ready primitives to work with
|
|
network connections. Streams allow sending and receiving data without
|
|
using callbacks or low-level protocols and transports.

Start a socket server.
|
|
|
|
The *client_connected_cb* callback is called whenever a new client
|
|
connection is established. It receives a ``(reader, writer)`` pair
|
|
as two arguments, instances of the :class:`StreamReader` and
|
|
:class:`StreamWriter` classes.
|
|
|
|
*client_connected_cb* can be a plain callable or a
|
|
:ref:`coroutine function <coroutine>`; if it is a coroutine function,
|
|
it will be automatically scheduled as a :class:`Task`.
|
|
|
|

|
|
returns immediately.
